First Quarter 2025 Summary

Team Expansion

This quarter, we strengthened our team with three key additions. In February, we welcomed Chloe as our new Finance Manager—an ACCA-qualified accountant with nearly a decade of experience, bringing a wealth of financial expertise to our operations.

Lyndsay has also joined us, actively supporting the business and providing invaluable assistance to the senior management team. Her contributions are already making a positive impact across the organisation.

Additionally, we brought Adam on board as our newest engineer. With extensive experience in offshore projects, he is reinforcing our technical capabilities and adding significant depth to our engineering team.

Recruitment Initiatives

In March, we launched a graduate recruitment program, seeking driven and ambitious graduates to join our dynamic team across North East and Scotland institutes. The initiative aims to attract individuals with sharp analytical minds and problem-solving attitudes, offering them opportunities to work on real-world challenges and develop cutting-edge skills.

Additionally, we announced openings for Project Manager and Project Administrator positions, targeting skilled professionals eager to thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to delivering impactful solutions.

Company Profile

In February, Harlyn Solutions hosted a networking event at Trinity House in Newcastle, bringing together industry leaders, clients, and partners to discuss advancements and opportunities in the offshore logistics sector. This event provided a platform for meaningful dialogue, fostering stronger relationships and collaboration within the industry in a relaxed environment at a historic maritime venue.

Throughout the first quarter, our team has actively participated in multiple industry events, engaging with clients face-to-face and exploring the evolving offshore network. These engagements underscore our commitment to staying at the forefront of industry developments and continuously enhancing our service offerings.

In addition to industry events, members of the Harlyn team have also been visiting local schools to inspire the next generation. They’ve been sharing insights on future career paths, discussing what it’s like to work at Harlyn, and explaining their own educational and professional journeys. These sessions include interactive demonstrations, making learning about the offshore sector both fun and engaging for students.

Project Milestones

Harlyn Solutions has been heavily engaged in operations around the Port of Blyth, executing major projects and maintaining a strong presence in the North East cluster. Completing the demobilisation and mobilisation of 2 different vessels among a continuous spree of snappy work scopes our team’s efforts have been instrumental in driving project completion on time and to the client’s standard.

In line with our commitment to continuous improvement, Harlyn personnel have also undertaken further training, including the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) course. This has lead to personnel from of our engineering team heading offshore to support one of our clients.
