Harlyn's Managing Director, Hamish, is a Naval Architect with considerable experience in planning, managing, and warranting the movement of complex cargo. He established Harlyn Solutions in 2020 with a vision to bring more engineering value to challenging transportation project. He has previously worked for Osprey and DNV Oil & Gas/Noble Denton. With an MSc in Engineering, he is also a Chartered Engineer and member of The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology.

As our Head of Projects, Kris is responsible for driving the successful delivery of the projects entrusted to us by our customers. With nearly 25years of Engineering and Project Management experience in a wide portfolio of high value and complex Projects with companies such as Baker Hughes, Techflow International and FES he brings a breadth of knowledge to our team. With this background our customers know that they are in safe hands. Kris is also a member of The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology.

Vanessa brings extensive experience in accounting services and operational management. With a career spanning over 20 years, she excels in strategic planning, process improvement, and delivering exceptional service, ensuring client satisfaction and organizational efficiency.

Our Head of Engineering, Sam is a multidisciplinary Naval Architect with over fifteen years’ experience in the Renewables, Oil & Gas and Ship Building industries. Familiar with all aspect of vessel design and marine operations. He previously worked as a contractor for Harlyn prior to joining as head of our engineering team. Sam has taken our engineering team to the next level leading the group from the front.

An ACCA qualified accountant with nearly a decade of experience, Chloe brings a wealth of expertise in financial management, analysis, and strategy. She has a proven track record in preparing financial statements, cash flow management, and delivering insights that support organisational strategy.

An accomplished leader with a proven track record in delivering complex offshore projects across Europe, from design through commissioning. He has overseen major initiatives to DNV standards and heads Harlyn Solutions’ Rotterdam office, driving strategic growth and ensuring high-quality regional service delivery.

William Stephenson is Director of Harlyn Solutions, specialising in offshore energy, complex logistics and marine operations. With over 15 years' experience, he has supported the successful execution of major offshore energy and infrastructure projects through engineering-led solutions, applying extensive offshore expertise to develop bespoke project methodologies using specialist marine assets, purpose-built equipment and innovative construction techniques. His expertise spans offshore wind, subsea cables, oil and gas, nuclear and major infrastructure. A passionate engineer and problem solver, William is recognised for integrating engineering excellence, offshore project expertise and commercial insight to solve some of the industry's most complex transport, installation and offshore challenges.

Fergus Fowle is a Commercial Engineer at Harlyn Solutions, specialising in stakeholder management, tendering and business development. Fergus joined Harlyn as a summer intern before progressing through the graduate scheme, building a strong technical grounding within the engineering team before transitioning into the commercial side of the business. A First-Class Honours graduate in Marine Engineering from Newcastle University, Fergus began his career working on engineering projects across the globe, gaining hands-on exposure to the technical challenges Harlyn's clients face before bringing that insight into his current commercial role.

Jamie leads the shaping of the Harlyn brand and the creation of all our public-facing content. He began his career through an apprenticeship, building extensive practical experience within the security industry, before changing course to join Harlyn — bringing a sharp, ground-level understanding of people and operations to the way Harlyn communicates. Since joining, he has been responsible for defining how Harlyn tells its story, translating complex engineering and offshore capability into content that communicates the value we bring to the world's most complex transportation projects.
